What would you guys say is a fair price? I've been researching lately, and I know I'm not pro-status, but I believe I should have some pride and ask for a little bit more because I feel like my art's work more than $0.50 an hour. I'd just like to get an estimate of what people think my pricing should be. Suggestions welcome :iconyea-plz:

Well to me it depends on how much time you spend on one commission.
For example those that take the most time to me , I ask something like 1200 points ,while a sketch is a 100 points.
I think you should at ask a good amount since your art is so cute and well done, it's worth way more than 0.5 $ or 50 points ouo

It depends entirely on what you're offering
and if you're taking prices in points or USD or whatever your currency is
Most artists do 100 points = 1$ because of the commission widget
So keep that equivalence in mind when pricing.

Are you thinking about doing commissions, and if so what would you be offering?

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to comment<3

Well, I plan on doing regular anime commissions along with chibi, and I can do pokemon as well, though I'd say backgrounds are my weak point TvT I could do either or, I've always wanted to buy some adopts with points, but those would be rare because I really need the money.

I figured you could use some more opinions. ;u;

Ah, for the most part I agree with the previous comments, so I'll just focus on the chibis for this
I could easily see them being worth anything from 3 to 10 $ honestly. Just anywhere in that range would probably be good.
Getting it to sell is the main issue though. Normally chibis sell for either 3, 5, 8, or 10. For some reason any numbers between those four just get ignored??
Personally, I would suggest in the higher range, being above 5 but not higher than 10, because even if it is good quality and you put a lot of work into it, most people don't want to pay a lot for a chibi.

And then of course artist popularity is a big thing as well as what time of year it is. This time of year, a lot of people are trying to save for the holidays. It's really up to what you think would be best for your income though.

Also, another thing to consider is if you would be accepting multiple characters or not. Like a couple or commissions with two or three best friends in a picture together or something along those lines. Again, this is just my personal thing, but I generally don't like commissioning artists who don't accept couples. That's just me though, and there are obviously other people who don't need couple commissions all the time. I'd just like to point out that it's always best to at least have that option.

Eeeee sorry for this being so long and unprofessional LOL
It's sort of late here so my thoughts were a little scattered while trying to type it out
It got longer than I meant it to, oops

Opinions are very needed/appreciated!

$3-$10? Really~? n.n Huh? That's kinda weird... So I shouldn't charge $6? I think $8 would be better then n.n then maybe raise my prices for regular style? ; v ;

Of course I'll be accepting multiple characters~ I thought that was a given, I mean, I think it'd be a little strange not to do that ^^; I can do couple pics, singles, whatever the person asks~

It's okay, it sounded really professional to me, thank you so much for your input, I'll really put it into consideration. Now I have a vague idea of what I'll be charging, so once again, thank you~
