Name: Blaire Adeline Baudelaire (No nicknames and no relation to Josephine Baudelaire.)

- Vegetables (Not that she would say this out loud, but her expression when she has it in front of her makes it obvious.)

- Not wearing fancy doll-like clothing (She's not a fan of the uniforms; she would much rather be wearing "lolita" style clothing because that's what she feels confident and pretty in.)

Personality:

Blaire is extraordinarily blunt and sarcastic, which contrasts greatly with her normal poker face. Still, given her upbringing, she was taught to be classy and refined, despite being somewhat tactless, or gauche. Once you actually get to know her, she does seem to have a warm heart under that icy exterior. Actually, Blaire isn't nearly as much as an ice queen as she tries to lead you to believe she is; she's quick to get lonely, easily hurt, kind and understanding and can even be a little clumsy and a bit of a crybaby. She would really have to trust you or be going through a hard time to show any of those traits to you. Blaire is normally very catty and loves a good banter session, once you get her to start speaking that is. But once you get her to open her mouth, don't expect anything to be sugar-coated; she's tactless to a fault and she knows it, however she doesn't believe she needs to censor herself or her opinions to save anyone's fragile ego. When dealing with her Fauna, Spook as she calls it, she has a no-nonsense attitude and is quick to put a stop to their shenanigans. Despite this, Spook is very precious to Blaire. Normally, she's very calm and collected, however if you want to see her turn into a flustered mess, just try making a pass at her. She won't appreciate it much though, and she might use her super strength to cause more harm than she intends.

Background: Ms. Baudelaire was born and raised in the wealthier portion of Silverthorne; she is an only child due to the fact that her mother passed when she was young despite her father remarrying, however both spouses agreed it would be best if they avoided having children (she was more of a trophy wife to be completely honest). Tragedy was the norm for Blaire; it seemed almost expected that every few years, someone from her family, whether a grandparent or an aunt, an uncle, a cousin, would catch a strange sickness, recover, then gradually, over a long period of time, waste away.

  With death being a constant presence in her life, Blaire felt rather comfortable around it, to a degree at least. Of course she was sad whenever someone would pass, but she just accepted as a part of life. However, to help her cope, she began to investigate in the afterlife. From a young age, she instilled in herself a resounding belief in ghosts and spirits. It wasn't unusual for her to go visit cemeteries and preform seances with her dolls, in hopes one would become possessed and she could help them pass on to the next world. It never happened, needless to say, but her obsession with the occult only grew with her age.

  Her father was disappointed in how creepy she had become and often asked her about her interests that weren't so dark, trying to steer her towards a normal lifestyle. The lack of support from him caused her to clam up and become reserved while trying to find ways to make him appreciate her 'uniqueness'. In the end, she settled for knitting and dress-making, which he approved of, until she started making gothic lolita dresses.

  At school, she was considered an odd-ball, causing her to reach even more out towards the spirits as companions. Sometimes she would scare the other girls at her school, saying she would curse them whenever they teased her, but that would only keep other girls away who could have possibly been her friend. At this time of her life, her father had caught the familiar symptoms of that deadly disease, causing Blaire to act out at school, leading to her suspension so she could stay home with him.

She knew that after he recovered, he wouldn't be the same which hurt her; he might not have been the best dad, but he was still her father. By now she had come to the decision that she wanted to end this disease by becoming a doctor. The first step would be getting enrolled to a prestigious school, like the Academia di Fiori, so she sent in her application and waited on pins and needles to hear back from them. Soon an interview was held and now here she is, a magical girl in a school for magical girls. She quite likes it here and hopes to learn quickly, now that she knows that the Shades are responsible for the death of so many of her family members.

Fauna: Spook and Blaire are fairly new partners, so Blaire's harsh attitude hasn't rubbed off on the little bubble yet. If anything, Spook's playful haughty nature compliments Blaire's personality well. The little fauna is almost like a younger sibling to her, which she never had before so it's a nice change for her and will hopefully help her grow socially.
Weapon: Blaire's weapon is a double-bladed serrated battle ax which she named Eidolon. It's very large and heavy, making it difficult for others to wield, however her powers make it possible.

Powers:
Blaire's most apparent power is her abnormal strength. It's what helps her use Eidolon, and, if needed, could help her when she's in a pinch without her weapon. While still being so new, she really doesn't have a grasp on her abilities yet, but hopes to uncover them as she attends the Academy.
